The BasicFirst Aid course will get you trained to handle many types of medical emergencies.  Some of the topics include fractures, burns, asthma, anaphalaxis, poisoning, shock, environmental emergencie and will cover legal aspects of providing First Aid.  The course cost is $65.00.  The class is scheduled for 4 hours.  You should be CPR certified prior to taking this course.  The cost includes the course manual.   The course manual can be picked up at our offices prior to the course if one wants to prepare for the class.

The BasicFirst Aid course MUST BE DONE ONLINE PRIOR TO SKILLS SESSION will get you trained to handle many types of medical emergencies.  Some of the topics include fractures, burns, asthma, anaphalaxis, poisoning, shock, environmental emergencie and will cover legal aspects of providing First Aid.  The course cost is $40.00.  The class is scheduled for 30 MINS.  You should be CPR certified prior to taking this course.  

BLS for Healthcare Provider (BLSHCP) classes are $125 and include the AHA course manual and a 2 year certification card.    The course manual can be picked up at our offices prior to the course., However this is not required. The course can be at your location or ours.  This is a class required for EMS, lifeguards, physical therapists, most nurses & doctors.  This is the most in depth CPR class offered.  The use of a Bag Mask, advanced airway techniques and concentration on 2 rescuer CPR are some of the additional features of this class along with comprehensive Adult, child and infant CPR, adult, child and infant choking and full hands on practice sessions with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).  The class is scheduled for 4-5 hours.  We also have a selection of masks and other CPR safety equipment which students can purchased after the course if they choose to.

The AHA Online Heartcode BLS is the AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider course. You can access online code at www.onlineaha.org . This online course provides all the cognitive learning information that would be presented in a classroom environment into a self monitored interactive online presentation. This course will be suitable for any intial time the course is taken or for a renewal.  The successful completion of the AHA  BLS module will comprise Part 1 of the students learning experience. Part 2 and 3 represent the (2) practice time and (3) skills testing that the student will require in order to become certified. The classroom portion is scheduled for 1 hour. This course meets the requirements for both initial BLS certification or renewal. 

When you register you will NEED TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE COURSE PRIOR TO THE SKILLS SESSION. The $90 cost  covers the in classroom practice and skills testing time you will need to complete your certification. The course is scheduled for 1 hour. This certification is the same AHA Basic Life Support For The Healthcare Provider certification as if the entire course was done in the classroom. 

The AHA course manual can be purchased separately for $20.00.

This course is only for those whom have a valid unexpired CPR card.  Students must bring their own workbook to class, if you don’t have a workbook you may purchase the book for an additional $20

THe Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen Course is an OSHA approved course for anyone working in an environment where contact with bloodborne pathogens can occur.  Bloodborne Pathogen training is required yearly for those working in these types of environments.  The course is scheduled for 1.5 hours.

Family & Friends CPR is $65 and includes the course manual but no written certification is issued.  The course covers adult, child and infant CPR along with how to handle choking situations for adults, children and infants.  AED's will be discussed but not practiced with as they are in Heartsaver AED certified courses.  This class will completely enable the student to have full understanding and capabilities of CPR for adult, children and infants as well as how to deal with choking situations for adult, children and infants.  This class is great for those that just want a basic CPR class that does not include the use of a defibrillator.  Young teens involved with babysitting are well suited for this class.  This class will run between 3 and 3.5 hours.   We also have a selection of masks and other CPR safety equipment which students can purchase after the course if they choose to.

Heartsaver AED CPR & BFA classes are $120 and include the AHA course manual and a 2 year certification card.  Upon completion you will be certified in adult, child and infant CPR along with how to handle choking situations for adults, children and infants.  The course manual can be picked up at our offices prior to the course if one wants to prepare for the class.  You will also receive full certification for using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).  This class is great for those who want to know all there is to know about CPR, choking and the AED without some of the more technical aspects provided in the Healthcare provider course.   This class is great for those outside of the medical profession or those in the medical profession that do not require the Healthcare Provider level class.  Police, fire, teachers, personal trainers, home care aids and the general lay public are well served with the Heartsaver AED class.   Do not consider this class for nursing as it will not be accepted in the medical field or in most nursing school programs which require you to take the Basic Life Support For the Healthcare Provider CPR course.

The AHA Online Heartsaver AED CPR provides all the cognitive learning information that would be presented in a classroom environment into a self monitored online presentation.  The successful completion of the AHA E Learning module will comprise Part 1 of the students learning experience.  Part 2 and 3 represent the (2) practice time and (3) skills testing that the student will require in order to become certified.  Do not consider this class for nursing as it will not be accepted in the medical field or in most nursing school programs which require you to take the Basic Life Support For the Healthcare Provider CPR course.

The child and infant modules are optional in the Heartsaver curriculum and if you do not complete them your card will indicate that you are not certified in those age groups.

For $80 we provide you  Parts 2 & 3.  The classroom session is part of your $80 cost and is the scheduled 1 hours time you registered for.

COMMUNITY AND WORKPLACE CPR:

Persons who do not work in the health-Care field but are occupationally required to, or desire to have CPR knowledge and skills such as emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, childcare workers, teachers, personal trainers, fitness coach, parents and babysitters.

Upon completion all candidates must affiliate themselves with a training center and follow the American Safety & Health Institutes Guidelines.  National Safety Awareness will consider aligning students with their Training center on an individual basis.

This cost includes all student Material, Workbooks, Instructor Certification valid for 2 years.  The course is 16 hrs long 2 (8 hr) days. Teach back is not included in the 16 hrs. The student must facilitiate a full course teach back infront of a qualified instructor.
